About Rob Mansell

A Career Built on Commercial Experience

My career has been built around helping people move from intent to action. Before entering commercial finance, I served as an Officer in the Royal Artillery after training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, achieving the rank of Captain.Following military service, I developed extensive experience within commercial and vendor finance, including senior roles supporting major technology partners and vendor programmes. Those experiences taught me that successful transactions are rarely just about numbers. They depend on understanding objectives, building trust and bringing the right people together at the right time.I've also experienced the realities of running my own businesses, navigating changing markets and making commercial decisions at the sharp end.Today, through RMCS, I work with businesses, suppliers and professional advisers to identify opportunities, facilitate introductions and help navigate the path towards specialist support through my broker network and direct lender relationships. My role is simple:

To help conversations become opportunities, and opportunities become outcomes.

Process

Identify

Every situation starts with a conversation.
I take time to understand what you're trying to achieve, explore the context and identify where specialist support may help move things forward.

Introduce

Once the requirement is understood, I facilitate an introduction to my broker network or to a relevant direct lender (for revenue based lending).
I don't provide regulated financial advice or recommend products. My role is to help create a clear, well-understood opportunity.

Support

Where an introduction is made to my broker network, a dedicated broker then focuses on structuring transactions, engaging lenders and progressing matters through to completion.
Throughout the process, I remain a trusted relationship point to help ensure communication and continuity.
Importantly, there is no charge to businesses or professional introducers for the time I invest in understanding requirements, facilitating introductions and helping connect people with the appropriate specialists.
Where transactions proceed, RMCS is remunerated through introducer arrangements with my broker network or lenders. This means clients benefit from an experienced, relationship-led approach without incurring additional fees for engaging with RMCS.

Why Work With RMCS?

Finding the right commercial finance specialist or payment solution can be time-consuming and frustrating. RMCS helps businesses make informed choices based on their exact operational needs—saving valuable time, lowering overheads, and connecting them directly with specialist whole-of-market lenders and smart payments solutions.Commercial finance and merchant services remain relationship-driven. Specialist brokers and tech providers spend most of their time executing transactions, managing applications, and dealing with underwriting. Their capacity to invest time upfront—to truly understand a business's wider objectives, audit existing costs and identify options—is naturally limited. RMCS bridges that gap.By sitting down to understand your business, audit payment setup, and map out growth goals, I handle the heavy legwork to create a smoother journey. The result is true Commercial Synergy for everyone involved:

For Clients

A more personal and considered experience focused on understanding objectives before discussing solutions.

For Suppliers

The ability to remove barriers to purchase, improve conversion and support customer outcomes.

For Brokers

Clearer, better-prepared introductions that allow specialist expertise to focus on execution.
